Starfleet Cadet Data is accompanied by an Academy base and pale blue science accessories, including a bio sensor and a sample collector. These ‘Academy’ figures are some of the only figures Playmates made of costumes that never appeared onscreen, and were made to promote the Starfleet Academy video game. The entire bridge crew was created, including a very young Jean-Luc Picard.
